How Serious Is High Cholesterol?

October 31st, 2007 · No Comments

If you are an American you have about a 90 percent chance of serious health problems at sometime in the future due to bad  circulation. That makes it pretty serious.

Blocked arteries kill an American every 34 seconds. Shocking is not it?

During 2007 the U.S. Government says blocked arteries will be responsible for the death of one in 300 Americans.

That makes it imperative to pay attention to our health & our cholesterol levels on a regular basis. Have it checked & stay on top of it… Take measures to stay healthy & keep your cholesterol levels in the safe range. You have good cholesterol & bad  cholesterol. Know the difference & what you can do to stay healthy.

Almost 7 million Americans undergo medical procedures each year to improve their circulation & correct serious problems. Right. Will you be one of the next ones?

You do not have to be. Now is the time to be checked, even though you may feel fine. If you wait until you feel bad, it may be too late.

There are many ways to lower your bad  cholesterol & improve your good cholesterol. It may include a doctor’s care & it may not. Besides the many drugs that are on the market, there’re natural means to get the job done. Spend some time doing research about the various choices of treatment available.

The first place to start, however, is with a medical professional. They can test you & let you know what your cholesterol levels are & if action is needed. Then hit the books either at your local library or on the internet & educate yourself on the dangers of high cholesterol & what you can do about it.

It may mean just changing your diet & getting some exercise. Find out what foods work against you & what foods help the situation.

Remember one thing, you are the one in charge of your body & your health & you have to decide what to do about it, & when. But keep this in mind also; every hour this year 83 Americans will suffer a sudden blockage of blood flow to the brain.
